 China earthquake
On May 12th a
7.9 magnitude earthquake hit southwestern China. The destruction it
caused is unimaginable... already there are over 40,000 confirmed dead and
some believe that the number of dead could eventually top 50,000.
4.8 million
people are now homeless... Chinese officials say 3 million tents
are needed...
Big Sky's
tent production capacity is being dedicated to producing special
refugee tents for these homeless... This will delay deliveries to
our customers and we apologize to our customers, but we believe this is
the right thing to do.
