The destruction it caused is unimaginable... it killed more than 70,000 people... over 5 million people were made homeless...  Chinese officials said 3 million tents were needed... Big Sky's tent production capacity has been dedicated to producing special refugee tents for these homeless... (see the picture above to see what the refugee tents our factory has been producing look like) This has delayed deliveries to our customers and we apologize to our customers and appreciate their patience and understanding. It is not too late to help... here are two organizations Big Sky has made donations to:  - Red Cross - China earthquake relief  - Mercy Corps - China earthquake Note: Red Cross and Mercy Corps are 501(c)3 charitable organizations, and contributions are tax-deductible to the extent of the law.  The good news is that production of Big Sky tents is expected to resume the end of June. It is approximately 3,500km long (2,175 miles). Trail Days is a festival held each year in May, the weekend after Mothers' day, in the Appalachian mountain town of Damascus, Virginia.
