Light weight full size, full featured, freestanding shelter...

Perfect for the lightweight backpacker that wants a very comfortable and roomy shelter without the weight

• Double wall construction to prevent condensation inside the shelter and on your sleeping bag
• External pole clips for quick and easy setup
• Interior hangs from outer shell
• Interior can be left attached to outer shell so it can be quickly set up in one piece like a single wall tent
• Quick setup and take down, only a minute or so from bag to setup when interior is left attached to the outer shell
• Interior can be unbuckled and removed to create single wall shelter with X-cord (optional accessory)
• Large very roomy interior with 107cm (42in) high ceiling
• Lots of no-see-um mesh for bug protection and ventilation
• Large side doors for easy entry and exit
• The doors on all our shelters, including the Revolution, are located a little toward the head end... they are ergonomically located to minimize excess movement getting in/out... the doors are also ergonomically sized; they are wider at the bottom to allow legs swinging in/out of shelter, with high entrance height for headroom clearance, etc.
• Big Sky's shelters have the best ergonomic design of any in the industry
• Four (4) interior pockets!!!
-- Two (2) interior pockets for headlamp, knife, maps, etc.
-- Two (2) clothes hampers made with breathable mesh built into shelter for storing or drying clothes
• Two (2) large vestibules with lots of gear storage area so each person has they own storage area - more than enough room for pack, footwear, and more
• Vestibules with single guy out for quicker, easier setup
• Vents on the top of each vestibule for cross flow ventilation; vents open/close from inside
• For even more cross flow ventilation... open both vestibules to expose full mesh side walls!
• Two (2) large side doors for easy entry and exit... no climbing over the other person to get out
• The doors can be completely unzipped to open them as much as possible for increased ventilation, or they can be partially unzipped if a person wants an overhang for rain protection.
• Porch version has overhangs over each to door to prevent water from dripping inside when doors are open during rainy weather
• Made with highest quality materials, e.g. fabric, zippers, window material, grommets, webbing, etc.
• Color coded cord, e.g. reflective gold color zipper pulls, black color guy outs, reflective gold color guy lines
• Comes seam sealed where necessary so it is ready to go out-of-the-box
• Choose light weight aluminum or ultra light weight composite poles.
• Available in different weight fabrics and colors
• Ready to go out of the box... it is seam sealed where necessary at the factory before being shipped.

• Create PackLightTM option: outer shell, ShelterSaversTM ground sheet, "X-cord" kit, and ultra light weight composite poles less than 1kg (2lbs)

FAQ: Which is better - Evolution, Revolution, or Mirage series?
It is mostly personal preference... they all have the same interior dimensions...

- pick the Evolution if you want to remove the outer fly and only use the mesh netting body and poles; the poles attach to the inner body and the outer fly covers the body and poles...

- pick the Revolution or Mirage if you want to be leave the interior attached so it can quickly and easily be set up or taken down as a one piece shelter, which is especially nice when it is raining since rain will not get into the interior. The interior hangs from the outer shell and the poles attach to the outer shell.

- pick the Revolution if you want to remove the interior. The Mirage interior is permanently attached and can not be removed.

Since the poles attach to the outer shell on the Revolution//Mirage series the structure is stronger and more storm worthy than the Evolution series... also, the Revolution interiors can be removed to create a very storm worthy single wall shelter since the poles attach to the outer shell.

- Footprint or ShelterSaversTM ground sheet (sold separately) extends your shelter life by protecting it from abrasive wear and tear. Footprint made with the same silnylon fabric as the floor so using this doubles the floor thickness. ShelterSaversTM made with ultra light weight non-woven fabric. It is much easier and less expensive to replace a worn out Footprint or ground sheet than the shelter floor. - 15% discount with shelter purchase.

- Stakes/pegs (sold separately) - 15% discount with shelter purchase

- Guy line kits (sold separately) 4 Lite-n-MityTM reflective nylon/spectra guy lines and 4 stakes/pegs for creating a more storm worthy structure - 15% discount with shelter purchase
